Societal behaviour
Our environment and our society are changing rapidly and very fast. It is alarming the rate with which values are eroding in our society, and one wonders what will become of our communities in the hands of our youths - the leaders of tomorrow.
The role of parents in mentoring their children cannot be over emphasised , and I feel strongly that government should as a matter of urgency put measures in place to encourage and educate the parents on the need to adequately see to the upbringing of their children and wards, otherwise , we will be heading for crisis.

Societal issues relating to children's behaviour.
I believe parents have a great responsibility when it comes to guiding children. Most parents seems to be too busy these days looking for financial survival - no thanks to economic crunch, and they seem to have fully transferred all responsibilities in relation to training and mentoring their children to the school teacher, forgetting that the main job of child's upbringing lies with them.
The above video will show you a typical example of this societal issues..
I was sad when I saw the way these teenagers behave to this lady who is old enough to be their granny.
I definitely feel we have a long way to go in solving societal issues relating to attitude / socialization of children outside our home.
Again I will say it is very important for parents to monitor the types of friends children keep, as these children are at risk of being influenced negatively by their friends and peers.
Like the common saying - 'show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are'.
